953 belt identification?

953 there are 3 belts the drive, lift, starter gen belt how can I find out diamater and length of each to have spares on the shelf? Any help is appreciated

I just measured my N.O.S. genuine Wheel Horse belts. The 1591 is 3/8" x 47" the 1592 is 1/2" x 81-3/4" the 1593 is 3/8" x 34-1/16 (All length measurements were taken on the outside of the belts.) Just to compare I measured my used starter/generator belt and the outside length was 34-3/8" so it may have "stretched" with use. These (953/1054's) that also have a mower deck use a 1594 or 1595 or both. Mark

Yes, although it is fairly self explainitory, as one will not fit in the wrong position. The 1591 is the 953/1054 Hydraulic pump to engine inner(smaller diameter) pulley, the 1592 is the 953/1054 Drive belt this one goes on the outer (larger diameter) engine pulley, the 1593 is the starter/generator belt which goes on the flywheel screen pulley and the S/G. The 1595 is for an RM-483 or RM-484 mower deck Drive, the 1594 is for an RM-483 or RM-484 mower deck Idler. Mark.
