Moles - how to get rid of them!

Recommended Posts

T-Mo

Anyone here have problems with moles. I have a couple in the yard and it seems like the church yard has a few. I think I found the most effective way to get rid of them. Here's what I do:

It took a while to train this cat, but he's deadly. Unfortunately the neighbor's little dog was a casualty, but that's the price you pay for effective mole removal.

Oh, btw, here's what I do with the little creatures once the cat shoots a couple of them:

T-Mo....any chance you could PM me the pix of the sharpshootin' cat and the mole slippers in .jpg format? My Mom has a mole problem at her house. Also, she was raised on a farm - hunted deer for 70 of her 85 years on this earth and still keeps a .22 by the back door for woodchucks who are stupid enough to approach her gardens. She also has a cat that looks a LOT like the one in the picture. She'd get a real kick out of seeing these!

She doesn't have a computer or internet access so I can't take my 'puker to her to show her from here.

Thanks!

Duff

It doesnt look great but put up pinwheels. The vibration makes the moles move elsewhere ie. neighbors yard.

Thanks david! I'd almost forgotten about that trick. From what I've heard, it really does work. It just doesn't make for as good a pic as the sniper kitty.

Actually, the nearly four year old twin girls do enough stomping around to ward of ALL the wild animals. Just look for the stack of rusty round hoods out back, and drop right in.

To get rid of the moles you need to get rid of the grubs that they feed on. find something with Diazanine in it. Or try Scotts Grub-ex. Might take a year or two for them all to leave but it really works.
