Gus 0 #1 Posted September 14, 2013 I have a lawn sweeper that my dealer tells me was made between 1957 and 1960. It is in very good shape and works well except that the rubber tires are worn off. Does anyone know where I might find a pair ? The Toro dealer told me he can't get this item.
Stormin 9,976 #2 Posted September 24, 2013 If the wheels a flat, how about getting some thick rubber strips and gluing them on?
CasualObserver 3,406 #4 Posted September 24, 2013 Would definitely like to see pictures of that! Assuming it looks like this? My guess is that it's a Parker sweeper. They're still in business, Get some pictures, check for a model number and give them a call/email.
Wheel-N-It 2,967 #5 Posted September 30, 2013 Question; Did Parker make sweepers for Wheel Horse?
Tankman 3,515 #6 Posted September 30, 2013 Not sure if Parker made the WH sweeper. I had the Parker, excellent sweeper. As noted above, check the Parker parts. I think the wheels 'll fit. Good luck!
CasualObserver 3,406 #7 Posted September 30, 2013 As far as I know, Parker made the earlier ones and Lambert made the later ones. I could be mistaken though. There was also one from Litter Whisk that was sold as aftermarket in the mid-60s... it was a solid mount that was driven from the rear tractor wheels instead of it's own wheels on the ground.
