Raider12 13 #1 Posted August 21, 2008 Im going to have to replace the tires on my 1990 520H this fall. I was thinking of going to a tire one (1) size taller than the 23x10.5x12 on the rear. And do the same on the front as well. My question is, do you think this may cause a problem of any king. Maybe the deck not be able to go low enough etc? hodge 6 #2 Posted August 22, 2008 I have 23x10.5x12 ags on mine, and they are pretty close to the fenders.
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #3 Posted August 22, 2008 The next tire size up would be a 24 X 12 -12. Theoretically, they should only require 1/2" more clearance than the 23's. I really don't think you'll have much trouble compensating the height increase at the mower deck. I have yet to see anyone use a WH deck on the lowest setting. (unless they never want to mow grass again!)
Raider12 13 #4 Posted August 22, 2008 My thinking was since I have to buy tires anyway, I might as well buy something to set it up a little! Like you said TT, it will only be about a 1/2". Thanks guys
