I'm building a new fence and adding onto the goat "barn" so this guy had to come down. It has a bad cancer all the way around it, so I couldn't trust it to stay up.

The wind was right today, so I got to it. This was the biggest I'd ever felled.

   Paul Bunyan, eat your heart out! Now you can send it off to the saw mill and build your fence and barn addition; hope the barn will have room for more  , the herd has to have room!

Geez -- The picture makes it look like a nice cherry log -- That would be furniture material; not fence and barn material -- Was it hollow all the way up the trunk?

953 nut, I kinda have a sawmill. It will go to good use.

Dcrage, its an oak about 2.5 ft at the widest spot.

Now that looks like a good time. Once the tree is down the real hard work begins! Nice saw by the way.....
