Early '58 frame?

There's no way this frame left Cecil's hands looking like this...

I'm thinking this motor mount had to have been modified by a PO, correct?      :rant2:

Looks like something one of my neighbors could have done. Definitely not the way it left the factory.

I did see that, only not until I had already stripped the opposite side down to bare metal...

Considering that's it's only fault, I decided to just accept it for what it is...at least for the time being.

It's not the trans that's gonna stay on this tractor anyway.   :handgestures-thumbsup:

Somebody didn't have the correct size belt and made it adjustable.

The shame is that it's a 4 digit serial # tag on there but it's nothing a few welds and some grinding can't fix.

OK, so...this other RJ frame I'm working on has me scratching my head too.  :scratchead:

Curious as to what these four holes in the front of it are for...

wondering, was the earlier gas tank stands a bolt on deal?   :confusion-shrug:

Craig, you wire brushing all that stuff?  There is NO amount of beer or any other substance that could give me the patience for that!  You need to get yerself a 'soda blaster' setup!

I still want that Barracuda!

For one hour, with a grinder...I wire wheeled a trans and frame yesterday.

Is this hard work?   :eusa-doh:
