I have very fond memories of helping my Grandpa (The one who got me started in Wheel Horses) set out the flag every morning when I was a little boy and would stay at their house.

I was pleased to see the flag heading on our forum page when I came on today; we need to keep that all year IMHO.

   

My flag is out every day, on the front porch and in the windshield of my truck. Also, most of my postings include the stars ans stripes.

Thanks guys :  I should have posted early in the day and I know many don't

notice a post like this on a tractor site but only 8 out of 8,000, what percentage

is that ? What does that tell us ?

In the past you could drive past my property and see Ol Glory a waving in the wind everyday. Now I just hoist her up on special Dates of history honoring those how gave the Last Full Measure and the country's past glory also for are Men and Women in Uniform. But I do not raise it everyday now to support those Idiots in Washington. So I raise it up to honor are past, not for the present or are future until somethings change for the better in this country. So praise all those who have dawn the uniform and carried the Red, White and Blue into harms way.

 

After re-reading what I just wrote got me to thinking, Are service members are there everyday to protect me whether they agree with Washington or not so maybe I should raise it everyday again in support of them.

Yep, our uniforms show up everyday...whether they agree with current policy or not.

I think our flag should too.
