Looks like a Tecumseh engine....I don't know if the Techy engines have date codes like briggs but that would be one way to get an idea on year.

That is one really cool find!!!!

There's no model with that number on the Toro site but having trawled through all the walk behind mowers for you there is one with the model number 3-2641 that looks to be pretty much the same as yours.

The 3-2641 is a 22" SD mower from 1973 and has a 3.5 hp Techy LAV 35 engine.

Possibly your 3-1641 has a different swathe but the '22' tends to suggest not or it is perhaps a year earlier or something but check it out.

Hope this helps

Andy

Go to

https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro

and do a search for

22" lawnmower

Most of the tractor model numbers in 1969 end in 41.

603802 also looks like a 1969 serial number.

No date on the manual?

Garry

Thanks for all the help, it will turn over and fire but that is about it for now, been sitting in a barn for several years and he could not find the bagger but did tell me when he gets the barn cleaned out if he finds it he will call.

Garry, did look at the manual and the date is 69 (why didn't i think of that)

Thanks again for everyones help and advice

Great find!  And it's got great decals.  Might not be a bad idea to shoot some clear pics and send measuements to Terry (VinylGuy) so he can have them handy in case someone finds another!  (I've been looking for several years for any one of the WH pushmowers)
