520H tach gauge doesn't work

I bought a 1993 520H back in March. I was cleaning it up today and the tach always worked. Now it doesn't. When I turn the key it does move. So it must have power. How do I test it? What should I try to get it working?

i believe the tach is the gray wire on the voltage regulator and should be on the center connector if i recall correctly

Your illustrations are so good. How good are they? I think it would be a great idea if you put them all in a book and sold it. Or if not at least start a special place on the forum for all of them. I assume you have some kind of cad program with the various icons you use. How ever you do it, they are always exactly right. I doubt if it would be very hard to gather all of your posting on these subjects, categorize them, then place them in the Faq section of the forum. What a service to our members this would be.
