Butch 194 #1 Posted April 15, 2013 Which mower deck for a C Series and I guess 300/400 Series uses the larger spindles plus uses 2 12" blades and 1 14" blade. The manual and numbers I have are for the smaller spindles and 3 12" blade decks. I need to order nuts and washers for the spindles and have ordered the wrong ones. Thanks. Butch 194 #3 Posted April 15, 2013 I've been all through the alloted manuals for today. I gotta wait 24 hours I guess to look again. I've looked at a bunch of manuals that cover 79-85. I have that manual to show the model number of the decks that fit certain models and years that you posted above.. I haven't had any luck yet. But thanks. I appreciate the help! Butch 194 #5 Posted April 16, 2013 Garry thanks for all the help. I did a search on the part number in your 2nd paragraph on Ebay. It took me to the mower blade set that I use. In the description of the blade set, it said it was for mower deck 05-36XR01. I tried looking for that deck here but it said I exceeded my 24 hour allotment of manual use! I didn't know that there was such a thing! I do appreciate all of your help and getting me all of those deck numbers.

Butch 194 #9 Posted April 17, 2013 Thanks Garry. I'm allowed back in to the manuals. I guess I've been looking at the ones from the 70s and early 80s. I made a copy of the one you sent. Thanks for all your help!!
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,533 #10 Posted April 17, 2013 This file may also help you figure out what you need. Clicking on a line should bring up a single page with all the spindle assemblies used on a deck over the years. Covers 1969-1989 so the assemblies using the metric bearings are in there.
