JimD 3,347 #1 Posted April 14, 2013 on a bicycle. I rode the bike after the lung surgery two years ago this June. I didn't get back into it last summer, so I decided I need to ride again to help me lose some weight. That, along with eating better hopefully will help me lose, and I need to lose a lot. Wish me luck as I try changing the way I live. I hope I'm not a miserable failure at this little endeavor. I need to figure out how to shut this guy down.
AMC RULES 37,195 #2 Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) One of the best forms of exercise there is Jim, low impact and great for the cardio... stick with it, you'll watch those pesky pounds melt away. Edited April 14, 2013 by amcrules00

whc160 80 #4 Posted April 15, 2013 I had not rode a bike in years till last summer. My oldest boy (6 at the time) got a new bike last Easter. He then wanted to ride more than just in our driveway. So I got my old bike from when I was a kid out and back in shape. Every day when I got home from work he would ask when we were going for our bike ride. He had a route we took everytime around town. By mid summer I could feel a big difference in how I felt. Got his bike out and ready 2 weeks ago. Now that I have all the mowers ready to go it is time to get mine ready.
