K341 running lean

I pick up a Ford lgt165 the owner said the head was bad. He was right it had a hole burnt thru it. The plston, valves and block look good could it be a to lean or a faltie head Jake

What did the top of the piston look like, if its chalking its lean. Could have been inproper torgue or it got hot.

The piston was black in color with light carbon. That way I thought maybe bad head (sand hole)

Clean her up, make sure the head is flat and run her

If it was lean the EX valve will burn.  We burned one up on a K181 having it too lean.
