puddlejumper 67 #1 Posted April 8, 2013 Is this a mount for a old style tiller, I have looked and cannot find any pictures just a partial description. If its not what is it. And whatever it is does it have any value? If its factory somebody took a torch to the bottom of it to fit around unidrive, If its homemade looks like they did a good job. THANKS GUYS
dbartlett1958 96 #2 Posted April 8, 2013 I am going to guess "Home Built", but like you said a real nice job. If it hadn't been for the torch job I would have thought different. My guess is whoever built it measured a little bit wrong and had to use the torch to save the day. JMHO
KC9KAS 4,741 #3 Posted April 8, 2013 I have read about "early" tiller brackets that had an idler mounted right on the mounting bracket.....I guess one would have to inspect it really close to determine if it is real or Memorex.
sorekiwi 761 #4 Posted April 8, 2013 Yep that is a late 60's tiller mount Mitch. The best pic I have is this one (not my tractor): This is the set-up that doesnt use the mid mount idlers, I managed to get a NOS one from Duane (Baerpath) last year. (This one is mine.) puddlejumper 67 #5 Posted April 9, 2013 OK, Thanks, looks like this one has had a extra flat bar welded to it for strength, other than that dead on.
