Will this tiller fit a c series tractor?

Found this on my local craigslist -Links to Craigslist not allowed

says its for a 260 series tractor, 36" tiller model 79271.

 

I'd like to attach it to a mid 70s c100 if it'll work. Not to sure though

The gent selling it has been misinformed, that will fit your B-100 also the C 300/400/500 series from 74 to 96

and thats a deal for 150 go get it!

It may fit now I don't know but the 79271 was originally intended for a 260-Series. Never had one. Have read where they can be changed to work on the garden tractors.

 Either the decal is incorrect, or it has been retrofited, either way it will fit the above mentioned tractors.
