Pretty cool Jeep there. I'm on Jeep #5 here myself. I'd like to find a real nice old J20 with a 4 speed.

Very cool looking rigs but if I find one for sale, just might have to keep it for myself. LOL

I never knew those existed. Are they very rare?

There is a very clean 1979 Cheroke with rust free hub caps, stick and 43,000 miles parked next door full of junk.

Very cool Jeeps. The best truck I ever owned was a 74 J-10. It had a 360 and a 4 spd. What an animal it was . It could pull anything anywhere any time. I would really like to find a Cherokee Chief from the mid 70's. Those 2 doors were awesome. Sure made the Blazers and Broncos and Dodges look silly IMO.

Or, how about these two? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . on Wheel Horse chassies.

We're also a Jeep family, like Wheel Horses, they just go and go.
In the mid-80's, Wheel Horse and Jeep (AMC) worked together on a few projects, and eventually AMC acquired Wheel Horse.

I looked at one about 4-5 years ago in the upper northeast part of CT.  I left it as it was too far gone for my wants (the bed was completely missing, engine and trans were suspect, but the cab was in good shape).  Maybe someone else might know of the same one - if CT isn't too far from Neb.

If I came clear out there (not out of the question) I would HAVE to pick up some little red tractors also!!!!!

In the 1970's & early 80's our volunteer fire department had one of the Jeep pick-up's for our field fire fighting unit.

It wasn't fast, and it wasn't very powerful, but it sure looked nice!

Don't really know who bought it, but I haven't seen it or another one since it was sold.

There is a junkyard near me that has a couple of these. At least they did, I haven't looked for them since I don't have a jeep and they were pretty rough. I think they were complete,, but again, didn't look too close. If you come out here, I have some red stuff you can get, so it won't be a completely wasted trip.....:)
