prpldude 0 #1 Posted August 6, 2008 My fuel pump started leaking so I took it off to see if I could rebuild it. When I looked at the K341 engine Service manual on page 6.2 it shows a different looking fuel pump than was on my 79 C-161 with a Kohler K341AS. Here is what mine looks like: Attached Image (Click thumbnail to expand)

Kelly 1,028 #4 Posted August 7, 2008 Not sure what pump you have, but I've found alot of them the kits are no longer avalible, so you may need to buy a pump.
prpldude 0 #5 Posted August 7, 2008 Thanks for your reply, Where is a good place to buy one from?
Kelly 1,028 #6 Posted August 7, 2008 Most lawn and garden shops that sell Kohler should be able to set you up, try a local toro dealer, Napa auto parts or another good auto parts store should be able to help. Ebay if your not in a hurry, but know what you are getting from there. new about $50 around here

Teddy da Bear 11 #17 Posted August 7, 2008 The illustration you have shown is exactly like the fuel pump on my 1054A. It has a K241 engine. Did you misstype the number when looking up the pump for your engine? There is not much difference in k-241 & k-341 I got my pump at C&C of South Bend for about what you mentioned. prpldude 0 #19 Posted August 7, 2008 I wonder if they just put a pic of a generic pump cuz they all basically do the same thing? Or maybe mine is an aftermarket pump?
