NEW SOLDIER IN THE FAMILY

Hi Guys- You may remember my grandson Trevor (the Mishawaka football player). Although he is still a junior in high school, he has always wanted to "serve his country". At 1030 am tomorrow morning, in Indianapolis, he will be sworn into the Indiana Army National Guard.

This boy always amazes me-now he is in the military, high school, football all at once. Wish him luck guys-kids like this are the future of our country!-Thanks-Al

Good young man! I never regret my service time, it was a major influance and a great part of my life. If he is driven to accept all these responsibilities at once and succeed at them all, then he will achieve many great things in his life.  He sounds like a leader to me.

It's a hard road, but very fulfilling. Wouldn't trade a single cold, rainy night or hot desert day.
