Bobie01 22 #1 Posted February 14, 2013 Hello I have last year bought a C-165 in which the engine was broken. Now I have the problem that a KT17's in, but this can not be right. Now something has been exchanged, the engine or the hood. How do I know now if it's a C-165 or C-175 is? because I want to install a K301, which I bought yesterday, it's running great. What I need to change so that it fits? Jeff
pfrederi 17,193 #2 Posted February 14, 2013 Is there a data plate anywhere on the machine? The 12 hp K301 should fit easily. If your tractor has the isolation mount for the motor (4 rubber disks) then you will need the correct oil pan on you 301. (Or forget the isolation mount and put the motor directly on the frame) You may need a different hoop for the PTO
