Tim 97 #3 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) i like it.. but you will need some counter weight, I did this and with any significant weight (`250 lb) it will come off the ground without front weights i run at least 75 lb in front you will have more of a moment arm than me so it will need even more weight Edited February 4, 2013 by Tim
roscoemi 245 #4 Posted February 4, 2013 Hmmmm.. A WheelHorse pickup. Any thought about extending the wheelbase back and maybe out a bit? There would be no need to counter weight the front, and adding a fabbed hitch to pull a trailer would make for alot of stuff moved in one trip.

6wheeler 586 #6 Posted February 5, 2013 Stay away from the adult beverages. They induce crazy thoughts. Next thing you know? You will want to put wings on it. Or at least you will notice...... Wheel Horse breed! Next thing you know? The barn is full of em'. At least, that is what Busch Lights do to me. That is my story, and I am stickin' to it........Neat Idea though.

HorseWhisperer 243 #8 Posted February 5, 2013 Thats alot of yays.I done run myself out of gas tonight for the welder so I hanging it up.I ran two sticks of 2" angle right up to the dash tower, bolted it to the frame. Then I mounted a 8" piece of 2" square stock on the two rear end mount holes on top.I then welded it all together leaving the angle long coming out the back,Its strong and solidifies the rear to the chassis too.It will all unbolt and swap back to naked in a couple curse words! 546cowboy 301 #11 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) I did do something like that about 6 or 7 years ago but not with a Wheel Horse( just couldn't do it to a good Horse) I used two Craftsman frames bolted together, a fabricated dump bed ( made from a gravity grain trailer) and a plywood cab. Like I said this wasn't a Wheel Horse but it did look cool. Edited February 5, 2013 by 546cowboy
prondzy 3,867 #12 Posted February 6, 2013 To make the front end stay on the ground have you thought of adding a second axle and ag tires like you got on already maybe midway down the box that would look pretty awesome too.
Tankman 3,515 #13 Posted February 6, 2013 Nice work y'all! Now you need those beer tap handles for the shifters! Miller or Busch would do the trick!
