I'm pretty much right in the middle of this if you find RST just low and right of center... I live right in the middle of the county to the left.

snowing.gif Weatherguy says 3-7 inches... random areas of up to 12!

Thats on the bottom left by SBN just outside of the map.

I'm jealous!

30% chance of RAIN here tomorrow....

We get about ONE dusting of snow here annually. Sometimes we get some accumulation, but rarely more than a few inches. We had an ice storm a few years back. Freezing rain brought down trees and powerlines everywhere. Some folks went without power for over a month.

I'm 37 years old, and I have had ONE white Christmas in my life!

I'm not complaining. You guys deal with temps that would grind the whole world arond here to a halt. I spent some time in Chicago in winter, and I thought I was gonna freeze to death!

Kevin- with a seasonal NC high temp today of 59 degrees... :D

I wonder why it is the only people who wish for snow, are those who don't get much?

Oh yeah, I live in snow country. No I don't wonder after all.

Umm... Minnesota, Dale. we get enough. Lucky for me, since Rochester has the 'ol Mayo clinic... they have to make sure the roads around here stay in pretty good condition even when it snow... they don't plow hardly at all in my town, (Kasson) but the highways get cleared good.

But to show off... I had a blast playing in the snow this afternoon, well... till the throttle cable broke and I had to finish by hand. :P:D But... kinda like having a Harley... play with it, fix it, play with it, fix it... ya just roll with the tides! :(

Wow Jason & a Suburban no less :P

Pretty amazeing how much they can actually push!

My first expeirences with a Wheelhorse was when my dad brought home a 401 to plow & mow with.

Those pics kinda jogged the old memory a bit, thanks

May have to pull my 401 out & get that plow ready I picked up at the shows this year :D

Jason,

Nice pics!!

They make me want to do some plowin. Its 23 degrees here in Connecticut, and the weather guy says to expect 1-2" Sunday night but that by Monday it'll be a mix of snow and rain :D .

It does seem that we are getting snow earlier this year and I'm thinkin it might be a heavy snow season here in Ct.

Thanks guys... yeah, that's my 400, still have a touchy spot in the governor, but I'll try to straighten that out when I fix the throttle. Handles pretty good too... notice no chains, just ags, about 50 lbs/rear wheel and my fat butt :D didn't slip at all. First time I've used it to plow, and it was a blast! :P

It's cold here in S.E. NY and weather folks say

Sunday: Periods of snow, mainly after 2pm. High near 28. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

It isn't much hope it's enough to try out the snow blower I've been waiting all year long for....

High near 28?

To heck with that! :P You guys can keep all that cold stuff! :( It got down to 12 degrees ONCE here last year.

Jason, the pics are great. Makes me wish the 551 was up to anything right now.

And to think I was blowing leaves in short sleeves today... :D

My wedding day, January 18th, was 4 degrees (f) for a high that day. I don't mind too much, and for snow, I love the stuff. Love to take the Jeep out in the snow.

Update

TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET

ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE LIKELY...FOLLOWED BY ONE QUARTER

TO ONE HALF INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATION.

I could do without the ice, but 2 to 4 should be enough.

Patience, Karl. Wait until the icy part is over, to keep it on top of the snow!

Much easier that way!

Eldon.

Wise words Eldon! it ended up sleeting overnight, and I woke up to 1/8-1/4 inch of nice glassy ice over everything. You can see my driveway's not very steep, but this morning I could stand at the top and slide to the bottom. Oops... shoulda waited!

Those pictures are great love to see old equipment thats run and used keep it up. The biggest thing is to keep up with the snow. My rj58 and suburban 400 both push snow quite well for there size and horsepower.
