Sparky-(Admin) 19,663 #2 Posted January 1, 2013 With a single stage blower the auger spins real fast and does all the work....it sucks in the snow and propels it out the chute. With a two stage the auger spins much slower while sucking in the snow and a second impeller, which is spinning fast, actually propels the snow out the chute. Mike..........
