Picked up my $50 horse today

It's a 1973 16 Automatic (1-0440) Decent shape, hopefully the engine and tranny are good but looks like it will be a fall project. As soon as I saw it i fell in love with the handcrafted oak cup holder. looks to be an extremely rare design and will add resale value in the future. the neighbor is supposed to have a tiller and plow for it, will find out when he gets back from vacation. Here's some photos

Uh, the seat's all wrong, mower deck is all wrong.... Buzz...... it just won't do. Tell ya what, hold onto it until I can take care of these things for you...

Seriously, that is a great use of $50, the deck alone you could recoup your bucks...

B) Very nice.

I notice it even has the hole for a cigarette lighter - you could have that AND the cup holder.

Best of both worlds  :horseplay:

and not too subtely I might add. Just managed to beat out Dan (Gattonade) and Tryg (Zamboniguy). Both of them could find a use for it. Karl.....the seat bottom has a hole in it .

I am so envious! 16 Hydro, my favorite. Needs a bigger mower deck though.

If I copied the cup holder, would they sell?
