I picked up this little gem today. 310-8 speed motor runs strong it came withe a 42" deck. The previous owner tried to repaint it. Also im not to sure what year it is as i can not find a model or the serial tag on it.

i gave 250 for it. the paint job is the worst part of the tractor but it looks like ill pull the tins and reshoot them and see what it looks like under them.

If the engine and hood decals are original, that would be a 1986 model.

If you're lucky, you'll find a VIN plate on the rear fender, just in front of the seat if I remember correctly. If you're even luckier, you'll actually be able to read it.

The engine should be a Kohler K241S, spec. 46863 if it's original. There should be an ID decal on top of the blower housing.

You can probably determine the model year from the Kohler.

Most likely '85, the Kohler is not a Magnum. Can't read the VIN on my '85 or '88.

Paint will make this Horse very presentable. I would have grabbed it

for the price too.

Seat is shot, of course. An excellent steel pan, high back, is available

at Tractor Supply. Bolt pattern on the high back'll match the WH seat springs.

I have two of these seats, firm, very nice.

Good tractor at a good price. Like Kevbo, I'm a big fan of the 8 speed Wheel Horses too. I have one hydro, but 8 speeds take it all down to to its simplest form. I like it that way.
