HorseFixer 2,012 #1 Posted July 28, 2008 Well I had a visit today! And the "Green Weenie" left my stable! Stephen came by and brought me the correct steering wheel for my 854. We did some horse tradin and he left with a pretty nice 68 lawn ranger and snow plow. We spent some time visiting and he was able to get a copy of the Wheel Horse Video. I showed him around my Puker Room and then gave him a tour of the "DUKE "O" MINIUM" where he was able to watch some of the video on my 65" BIG SCREEN! I showed him my garage The new RV and the future plans of my stable! When He pulled up with a 953 and MJ asked if that was for us! Of course the answer was no When she found out he has two lever steers she said Stephen you only need 1!!!!!!!!!!! Thats my Girl Anyways I had a very nice visit and Stephen come back anytime! I promise I will clean my garage and get my stable in order! Here are Some Pics! Duke
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #2 Posted July 28, 2008 Duke, It sounds like you and Stephen had a nice visit. I'm sure my wife wouldn't be mentioning which "new" tractor I should have. Stephen, Enjoy that 110, it doesn't look too bad at all. It even has the starter/generator belt cover that goes missing on these older JDs. BTW, I had a red tilt trailer at one time, mine was a 12 footer - yours looks to be either a 12 or a 10? B)
Rollerman 290 #3 Posted July 28, 2008 Duke I had a good time also & look forward to my next visit up. Taylor is really excited about the newest Lawn Ranger too! Terry it's 12' long...been a good trailer but wish it had more tongue weight.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #4 Posted July 28, 2008 Stephen, On my 12 foot tilt, I thought about moving the axle back a little or adding a second axle to the rear to make a tandem axle. But I decided to just sell it and buy another one, my current 14 foot one I have now.
