Picked up the same Horse, 416-8, with a 48" deck a week or two ago.

Doin' some work on it but, runs great. I also have a 414-8 and can really

feel the pull from the 16 hp Kohler. Seems to me, wow.

I can fit four more tractors, go ahead and send yours down to PA.

looks real nice! make sure you clean out all the "twigs and seeds" off the rear cylinder and under the motor mount. interesting peel and stick stainless steel foot rest pad

They look to be 1/4 inch stainless, not just peel and stick. It's getting a bath tomorrow, and we will see what happens. It has 538 hours on it.

Have you bypassed the wiring system yet ? I had to on mine to get it running I have a spare coil if needed

I haven't found a need to bypass anything, yet. It turns over, but the ohm reading on the coil was wacked out. That's the only thing holding me back.

The 416-8 I picked up is an '85 with the single cylinder Kohler.

Runs like a beast, great machine. Good luck with yours.

Just ordered new vinyl decals and stripped the hood.

Still like the '73 no name, automatic w/ electric PTO. Why? Don't know.

Fixin' the steering column, partstree.com delivered the sleeve today.

Need a new seat, lots of gaffer tape on this worked seat.

Grandson loves this Horse, and everybody elses too!
