Eldon and I have worked out a deal. I am getting the 1968 Electro 12 from him. The previous owner was Karl, so I know were it came from that far back. Eldon is also throwing in a pair of concrete wheel weights. This is the first big block i will have owned in 3 years, and my first hydro ever B)

Got home today and worked on the Electro. Dad and I did some wiring work, we also had to put a hub on it. Here is is an up to day picture with the ags:

I guess that is not the original engine? IIRC the 68 should have a starter generator and magneto ignition.

I can't see the coil to see if it has the early electronic ignition.

no its the original engine, Early 1968 had a starter/gen. and battery ignition

That is the correct engine for that tractor. It has a magneto ignition but no starter generator.
