backwards valve stems

Why are my front and rear valve stems on the inside on my C160? Seems weird but it looks like the tires would fit funny if I flipped them.

I've always thought it was because the stems are more "protected" on the inside of the rim, less likely to tear them off.

If you ever add wheel weights, you'll be happy they are on the inside so you can check the air.

And yes, they are more protected from tree branches, etc.

i agree with eldon. also if you every add duel wheel. you will be happy one tire with valve stems on the inside, another tire with valve stems on the outside.

I flipped the fronts around today. It puts them just a little bit closer together I think but it looks good.
