1077 hydrastatic trans fluid

my 1077 hydrastatic trans needs a change. Type A fluid is notaround so what is the replacement andthe capacity?

Dexron II or compatible......I believe with a filter change it takes about 5 qts.....put 3 in and check the dip.....then keep putting it in till it looks full. Start it up and let the hydro pump. Shut it down and check again. Add what ever is needed.
