TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #8 Posted September 9, 2012 There are usually a few in attendance at the local NAMA show: I had a chance to buy a 3 wheeler for scrap price about 20 years ago but there were a few parts missing - including the cylinder head. jay in nc 209 #9 Posted September 9, 2012 silver king made by the faith-root -heath co. plymouth oh. formaly the plymouth tractor, they built one plymouth car in the teens or early 20 s. so chrysler had to buy the plymouth name ,that is when they were renamed silver-king. most had hercules 4 cly. engines & Timken Transmisions,. the most popular model had 3 wheels and art deco styling , very nice tractors. jay Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I heard a story one time of a family decided to move out west loaded up the hay wagon and used a brand new Silver King to pull it. I used to play in a community band in Ohio after i gradgitated high school and we used to do a parade every year in Plymouth, Oh they would get in over 50 of the Silver Kings and put them at the front of the parade Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
