Looking for headlight insert

Recommended Posts

forwardtrends

I'm looking a white headlght insert for a 71 Raider 12 - any good places to look?

I can't find anything on eBay or other sites - maybe "headlight insert" isn't what the part is called?

Thanks

Just search for "Wheel horse lights"

You'll do better

Scroll to the bottom of the forum home page to where it says vendors. Check out Kelly's tractor salvage.

He will probably have several.

Take a peek-a-boo here http://www.partstree...-0430017A-00019

Might be what you need. I have the '73 model but, most likely the same or, Parts Tree will have it.

Pricy assembly, I would look for used.

Yea, but their buckets can handle the $12 light bulbs.

Can yours do that?

That price, new, ran over me like a gang reel! Couldn't believe it! Tractor robbery!

Toro has a lot of crazy prices on old parts. If they don't want to make any more don't, but that no reason to rob someone who needs one of the last parts. There is no way they have that much in manufacturing the part to need to sell it for $300.
