Removing paint off cooling fins ( noob question)

Whats the best tool, and best method to removing paint off the cooling fins?

i like to use a dremel with a small wire wheel or sanding attachment, it fits real good inside the fins and makes them real smooth

good stiff wire brush and a lot of elbow grease

or a sand blaster :hide:

I found this will take off a lot of paint when I cleaned the tranny on the 418-a.

That could be learned the hard way....as well as brake fluid.

Oven cleaner works well, but use it in a well ventilated area, and wear gloves....That is some wicked stuff!
