simplicity 4041

Recommended Posts

fourwheels0

well i may be in over my head but i just bought a simplicity 4041 with a danco loader. i think it's a 1973.

there's a rough shape brush hog with it.

it has the 3 point rear hitch and rear pto

it also has front hydro connections.

it's gonna need some work but hopefully not too much money.

i'll post pics when it gets home in a couple weeks.

until then anyone with experience with this tractor or onan 19.5 engine please feel free to tell me what you know.

i have no knowledge of simplicity's or onan's.

well here's a pic of it.

the loader, hood ect is all there just not on the tractor.

Looks like it could be an extensive and expensive project. However I know of a complete one in NJ with bad engine for $100. Its a little rusty too from sitting outside. However it has some cat 0 implements. I might go pick it up to get some parts off of it. If I get it, Ill let you know in case you need parts.

Yesterday I picked up a little round hood, and the guy had a very clean Allis 620 with 60" deck, it was very clean, he wants $1000 for it, I'd say it is a fair price with out hearing it run, if it runs like it looked, good deal, it is a beast.

Cree if you don't pick it up or if you do. I'd be interested in the frame/body to put another diesel puller together. I have a Cat 2.2 ready to drop in it.
