duke 49 #1 Posted August 27, 2012 Wheel Horse model 17235 Electro 12 appears to have the DCL and hydro-drive as the c-160 Auto. I can't pull up the part numbers for the Electro, however the diagram shows the c-160 parts list. Can anyone verify thses parts are compatible?
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted August 27, 2012 I can get part numbers from my book if you tell me specifically what you're after. To lessen potential confusion: The "long handled shift" is the direction control lever - or DCL. It is also sometimes referred to as the motion control lever. These tractors have hydrostatic drive units that run by fluid under pressure ~ vari-drives (variable speed drives) use belts.
duke 49 #3 Posted August 27, 2012 Hello, Yes the DCL (Cam Control) lever and the rest of the assembly. On the diagram parts 6-60,6-59,6-58,6-55,6-42. Each book has it's own terminology, so it seems. TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #4 Posted August 27, 2012 Toro Consumer103891 Ass'y.-Cam Control That's the only one that's different - but that doesn't mean that it won't work or can't be made work with a bit of modification. The "Cam Control Arm Ass'y" (#72 on the IPL) for the Electro is P/N 7598
duke 49 #5 Posted August 27, 2012 I thought that or #6323? I'll butcher part of the old assembly, perhaps #7604, the swivel rod if I have to use the exact DCL, but close enough maybe good enough! It's better than just leaving the 1-1/8 lock nut loose. Thanks for the help,
