Treasure in the trash

Walked by the scrap bin at work today and poking out of the top was a cast iron engine block???

Upon further investigation it turned out to be a Tecumseh HH60 block and a pile of parts. The bore looks perfect mics at about 2.626-2.628. Just thinking the 655 is gonna get an upgrade to a cast iron block

Question being will the rotating components and internals from a H60 fit inside a HH60??

Tore into it after work and I found out why they tore it apart. Cam shaft is sheared off at the gear.

They kept all the aluminum parts for scrap I guess. Awful lot of work for $1.00 worth of aluminum?????

I'd stick it on Craigslist and say you can see Jesus image on the bore wall when viewed in the correct light and ask $800 (no disrespect )

Anybody know what the wear limits are for the bore and crank on these engines?? I have searched in vain on the Google with no luck :banghead:

Standard Bore is 2.625

Internals are interchangeable H60-HH60
