Doorvip 1 #1 Posted August 23, 2012 I want to thank Kelly,Tankman and Duff for the great info on my drive belt smoking and clutch pedal not coming back properly . it turned out to be that GD gas shock that im happy to say is history. I do have a spare toro belt but decided to save it, this one looked like it had a lot of life left. I did change the idler pully and installed a return spring to replace the shock. 20 bucks in parts, everything in stock at my local dealer and my pedal has never felt so good. I recommend the return spring for anyone with this gas shock setup, its so smooth and doesn't want to pop up at all. hope the pics came out, my first time posting pics . i love Rob :flags-waveusa:

Foozerush 40 #3 Posted August 23, 2012 My shock went bad also, (416-8) put spring on and left the shock on, it works fine for me..
Doorvip 1 #4 Posted August 23, 2012 I did leave the hardwear, nuts, bolts, flange washers and tightened everything up but sent the shock on its marry way.
