My coworker said he's good too. I only got one of his albums. I'll add him to my concert bucket list then :handgestures-thumbup:

I may have posted this already.

Either way it deserves another study.

Watch the first video to see the instrument.

Then really. REALLY. Pay close attention to the second one. The actual song video.

Try to comprehend what Steve's doing....

Thanks for sharing Kevin. That's something that I wouldn't have known or heard since classic rock is basically what's on my radio. Don't really listen to enough music any more since getting older.

Love this stuff from Rucker too.

WHX??

Been hooked on watching Uncle Teddy on you tube alot lately and have no idea why. Both commentary and music but always been a TN fan.

Why do I have this hankering for back straps & opinions... err onions?

So, classic rock is what I grew up on. 60's - 70s mostly. I was on youtube listening to stuff like the Animals, of course Skynyrd, Hendrix, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Cream, Zepplin  etc.

This came up on the side list and I was first skeptical, but then went through some of their songs. These guys are about as old school rock as you can get for a modern band. Maybe not the genius lyrics of say a John Lennon but still. The front guy has the "Freddie Mercury vibe" as I thought "Gretta" would be a woman so it threw me off a little at first but these young guys rock like classic bands if you're into the old school rock.Unusual for a modern band. Here's a snippet of them live

These guys

They're an excellent group John.

The "sound" is all over LED Zeppelin for the most part.

Trina's a long time Led Zep fan.

I got her a few of Greta Van Fleet's CDs this past birthday.

She's been very impressed.

My laptop is acting up, so I'll try to post this real quick...

You guys who are into the Zeppelin/GVF connection should check out a singer/guitarist from the old days named Terry Reid.  I'd never heard of him (that I remember) until YouTube showed me something the other day, a powerful voice and a very interesting story.  There's an obvious similarity between him and Robert Plant, but I also hear echoes of Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
