Martin 2,130 #3 Posted July 18, 2012 man, that reminds me of the burnout comps they had at the big local car shows back home in the 90s. no fences, no safety, no nothing but full throttle and the smell of rubber.......
bowtiebutler956 649 #5 Posted July 18, 2012 Looks like fun, but that would worry me a little with all those people right there. Matt :flags-texas:

Rooster 191 #7 Posted July 18, 2012 UN-fortunately just what you guys have mentioned has all but put an end to burn out comp's around here. A few years back several people were killed when a hot-rodder in a parade decided to do a burnout and lost control, launching the car into the crowd. Love the video Lars, but I gotta go with the "Safety" crowd on this. One of the problems with "technological advancement" is it makes it lees expensive and easier for people with less knowledge and ability to build equipment they cannot handle! When I was younger there were maybe 4 cars in town over 350 HP, those who owned them knew how to control them. Now there are way to many 18 y/o kids with 600+! Nice truck, Great burnout.....poor judgement.
