jla1257 2 #1 Posted July 3, 2012 I purchased the below snow blade a couple of days ago and was wondering if anyone has tried to mount one to an older long frame wheel horse (mine is a 1257). I am visiting NJ from MS and could not pass on the opportunity to purchase the blade for $75. If it will not fit, does anyone have the measurements so that I can weld up a long frame mounting assembly? Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Kelly 1,028 #2 Posted July 3, 2012 Nice set of front and rear weights those will fit, but that blade is for the old vertical shaft tractors, and will not fit any of the horizontal shaft tractors with out mods to it, the blade head will work, I've used them on the normal frames. jla1257 2 #3 Posted July 3, 2012 Thank you. The weights came from my grandfather with the 1257, but I forgot to take them to MS when I moved. I sort of figured that the blade would need to be modified some, but the 1257 is about 1200 miles away right now. Right now I am just trying to think ahead.
