bwh3200 1 #1 Posted June 24, 2012 I noticed that my voltage meter was pegged so I checked the voltage at the battery with the engine running and it was at 16.5 volts. The original rectifier/regulator is very expensive from what i'v read. Anyone know of an alternative regulator? Thanks Barry.
Sparky-(Admin) 19,651 #2 Posted June 24, 2012 When the one on my ONAN 16 went bad I managed to score one on E-bay from Joes Outdoor Power for about $24.00. New they are almost $100 if I remember right. Mike............
Kelly 1,028 #3 Posted June 24, 2012 Before you buy one make sure it is grounded good, and the wire leads are in good shape, then if you still need one send me a PM I have a few and I have a regulator tester here to check them before I sell them, so you know your getting a good one. Kelly 1,028 #6 Posted July 6, 2012 Yup I have one of them, they are nice, not cheap but very nice to have when you sell parts like I do. And as of today I don't have any good onan regulators.
