We need something new but even wind farms have extreme apponents. When a company started looking at building one here in Ohio, about 30 miles from us, some residents tried to stop it. Driving through the area I saw a lot of "no wind farm" signs in the yards. They do have some legitimate complaints about property setbacks and noise. But I think it kind of comes down to the old story of it might be good but.. "not in my back yard".
