specialk7492 1 #1 Posted June 16, 2012 i got a 6 hp tecumseh on my WH and once it gets warmed up and i drive it alittle it seems to sputter and then i have to pull the choke some to keep it running. any suggestions on what it is and what i should do? pfrederi 17,194 #2 Posted June 16, 2012 Is it an H60? What model WH Remove the fuel bowl and clean the crap out of it. Take the high speed needle valve (the one holding the bowl on) and look for plugged holes. If it is a gravity feed system turn off the fuel at the tank. Put it back together. Turn the high speed needle all the way in (by hand do not force it) then open 1-1/2 turns/ Turn the fuel on and try her again. You may have to try opening or closing the valve a bit to get her to run her best. May want to order #31840 rebuild kit, and put in an inline fuel filter.
