whfan74 2,073 #1 Posted June 13, 2012 Well here is the main reason why we are selling off a bunch of our things. The shop has become a war zone with too much stuff. We are wanting to be able to display our nicer items and make it a nice man cave for us to enjoy. Unfortunately it is a little tight on space right now. Big plan is to take almost everything out after the big show and rearrange, clean, organize, etc.... Sadly........here is a few pics of the war zone......... We have some collectibe items placed around the barn on display.......unfortunately the mess draws the most attention. Throw up some more photos everyone of your clean or disorganized place. :)

Ken B 3,201 #15 Posted June 14, 2012 There is a very old sign that is hanging in my father in laws race shop and it reads: A creative mess is better than tidy idleness. I also believe, at least with me is that if I had a bigger shop I'd have a bigger mess!

Transplant, swapped the Eaton 700 for an 1100. Luckily I had an organ donor or the ol' horse might have been put down.
Jake Kuhn 1,579 #17 Posted June 14, 2012 Well most of my horses are scattered around at different places. Some are at the farm and some are at the house. Don't really have a place I can designate as a tractor shop. Never enough room where I want them either LOL Jake

By the way, the mess in my shop is just embarrassing
AMC RULES 37,220 #19 Posted June 15, 2012 My dedicated little 10x14 red shed, and any extra space in the garage has already been full. I've been trying to convince the wife to allow a couple to migrate into the basement, but to date...that ain't happening. Plans are for a new 12x28 next, hopefully that will tide me over for a little while.

rydogg 186 #21 Posted June 20, 2012 Here are some pictures of my messy shop I do small engine repairs and part them out so I probably have around 50 push mowers. You only see one wheel horse hiding here and that is my 701 the rest are on the shelves in the pole barn or in the other garage. I try to keep everything that I can under a roof since it keeps the wife happier and keeps everything from getting rained on. Most of the mowers you see pictured are 2 stroke Toro mowers that are suzuki powered they sound really cool when they are running kinda like a little motocross bike. I have been stocking up on these since I use them around the farm and parts are getting crazy priced. I was at a shop that had 7 of these sitting in a shed so I got them all and this is as far as I have gotten with them I need to drain the carbs put a little oil in the cylinder and put them on the shelf.
