One of the choices is "Bought a New Garden Tractor", it doesn't say Wheel Horse. Are you asking if a new garden tractor was bought of any brand? Or is this strictly a Wheel Horse purchase poll?

I bought a 1977 C-120 8 speed new with a 48" deck and a sleeve hitch. The pressed pan trailer was a freebe with the tractor, it's long gone still have parts of it.

Paid 2303.60 total including tax. The sleeve hitch I bought later don't remember the price.

I came real close to biding on a NOS horse at RickyV's auction. I would have considered that a new tractor.

My dad did buy 4 horses from dealers, but none of them were new. My brother bought a new one (C121) and he still has it...he is not on RS.

Nope, if the tractor was already purchased from a dealer, the new label goes away and it is pre-owned tractor, not new (for the purpose of this poll)

i bought my 1986 308-8 new from my dealer who is still the same guy and he knows me by name,pretty much has me on speed dial as i buy a fair amount of parts to keep 8 horses working

hi guys, i was home on Christmas leave in 1981. at my old job my leadman had a wh and would always rave about how great it was!!!!!!!!! soooo,,,, since my dad was not in great health i decided to buy him a wh. unfortunately the salesman steered me into a B111-5. i spent about $2400. for the tractor with deck, bagger and snowplow. at least it lasted til i got out of the service in 1984. in 1985 the POS rearend blew up. by then i was back at my old job and that same leadman explained the difference in a lawn tractor vs. a garden tractor to me. ever since its only been wh garden tractors for me. all used purchases since then. regards. mike in mass.

I SOLD ABOUT 25 TO 30 NEW WHEEL HORSES BACK IN THE 50 TO 60'S.(IN GREENWICH, CT.) I HAVE ONLY BOUGHT ONE NEW WHEEL HORSE AND THAT ABOUT 1980. . I HAVE HAD ABOUT 27 USED ONES ALSO. I HAVE 6 WHEEL HORSES NOW AND ONE HOMELITE T-16. RUSS.
