darren 49 #1 Posted June 4, 2012 Could someone confirm how the plastic blocks that support the slider for the idler pulley on a 48" deck fit? I'm pretty certain the very thin plastic piece sits underneath and the thicker 'n' shaped piece clamps over the slider from the top. I checked the parts diagram but it doesn't show in enough detail and I rather stupidly didn't take a picture when I took it apart.. If this makes no sense, I can try andget some photos of the pieces in question.
Trouty56 565 #2 Posted June 4, 2012 I'm sure you are right. The thin piece is to reduce friction on the bottom.

Don1977 604 #5 Posted June 4, 2012 That the way it goes. You can also turn the blocks around if they are worn on one side. It wares one side closer to the idler and the other side at the end. I wore out both sides of mine. When I rebuilt my deck they were not avaibable. I had pick up some scrap nylon from an old mill site I was drawing a site plan for. Had a friend with a milling machine to make a couple top bocks. the bottom thin ones I got from Toro.
