sorekiwi 761 #1 Posted May 31, 2012 Wondering if someone can give me a dimension off one of their tillers. What I need is drawn on this photograph: From the centre of the bar that mounts into the rear axle bracket to the centre of the forwardmost bolt attaching the frame to the tiller. I have a 1966 vintage tiller that seems to be shorter in the frame area, the RT366 tiller was designed to run off a double pulley on the hydro transmission, and the frame appears to put the tiller too close to the rear of the tractor to run a later set-up. Any help with this dimension would be greatly appreciated.

sorekiwi 761 #3 Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks for getting me that Mike. Mine measures 6 1/2" so that accounts for the lack of space to fit the idler!!
sorekiwi 761 #4 Posted June 12, 2012 In the interest in putting this information out there for someone in the future that is trying to identify pieces, I'll post a picture to show the difference between the mounting frame of a 1966 vintage RT-366 and the later "more normal" tiller mounting frame: The short one is from the RT-366 the longer one is the common later model one, courtesy of my favorite go-to parts guy Kelly.
