Are these wheel horse wheel weights?

Recommended Posts

CRE1992

I recently got these wheel weights. The guy I got them from was an old wheel horse dealer. I was curious if they are wheel horse or not. They fit on the inside of the wheel and fit over the hub. I think they weigh about 20 to 30lbs each.

Thanks,

Charles

Yes, those are Suburban weights. See the last page of the 1960 Suburban brochure in this thread.

Not bad for $25? How much are they worth or do they typically go for?

They were part of a deal I worked out and another member picked up for me. Thanks again Jeff! although I bet he wants these weights now! lol. I got 4 sets of cast wheel weights for $100. The other 3 sets are simplicity/allis weights.

i,ve got about 4 sets of these weights that i,ve found over the years i use them for added weight to the larger cast iron ones they fit perfect just use larger carriage bolts and mount the flat side to the larger weights works perfect . these weights are getting harder to find as is all wheel horse items , but they are still out there if you know where to go . if you have no use for them contact me and i,ll make you an offer i can always use another set .my wife just loves it when i bring home more wheel horse parts l o l

Good score on the weights! This past Saturday I bought a pair of real International Harvester Cub Cadet wheel weights for $45. That was a good deal as the reproduction weights sell for $100.
