Shuboxlover 474 #1 Posted May 26, 2012 O.K....my "new" D-250 runs really good, fires right up and doesn't miss a beat. I power washed the whole tractor today and then it wouldn't start. I figured I got water in the distributor, sure enough...blew it out and fired right up again. While I had the cap off, I noticed that the points, cap and roter are pretty worn (I was actually surprised it ran as good as it did!!) I have lots of questions about the 250, but I'll start with just a few 1. Where can I get (and what are the part numbers) for the cap/rotor/points? 2. What kind of oil do I use in the oil bath air filter and how much do I put in the "bowl" 3. My fuel pump leaks like a sieve, can I buy a new fuel pump or can this one be repaired??? what are my options? 4. Does anyone have an operators/maintinance manual in .pdf form they could send me?
