Electric Clutch

Has anyone had any success adapting another electric clutch to a Kohler K engine???

Problem would be the drive pulley is behind the clutch, other brands that use a elect. clutch drive off the flywheel side, I'm sure you could space the other brand clutch to clear the pulley but the other style clutch is going to look funny sticking out there.

Kelly, I think JD on their vertical engine lawn tractors use(d) an electric clutch on the output side of the engine to drive the mower deck. The main drive belt for the tractor takes off just above it (or next to the engine). I wonder if one of these could be adapted to a horizontal shaft engine to do the same thing? Might look a little funny, but it might work? Anybody with ideas on this?
