Heres the 2 latest things that have come to roost at the house...Wheel Horse Dump Cart from 1973 $67post-1339-0-90649500-1337714692_thumb.jp and the 60 inch mower deck post-1339-0-20065000-1337714721_thumb.jpfor the Suburban 551 project was more than that, but It was everything that Charles (CRE1992) said it was and definitely worth the wait. He is truly a first class guy. I wish we had a whole day to talk tractors.... Now to get moving forward on these things in time for big show

Well it looks like the 551 fits over the 60" deck but I'm gonna have to stretch things out a bit framewise on it....ya know so I can steer.... lol.

Thanks Jeff your not to shabby yourself... I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to make it to the show. There was a ton of stuff and I wanted some things, but did not want to shell out the money for them. And don't worry I will include you in my latest acquisition thread when I get all of my stuff together.

And if you decide you want to get rid of that hitch I will put it to good use =]

I think if you mount a verticle shaft engine on the left and right spindles of the deck the Suburban should be able to tote it around. Its funny as that deck probably weighs close to what that Suburban weighs if not more lol.

Doesnt chrome cut down on wind resistence and increase overall ground speed by 10%? :ychain:

Wow, that thing is going to be all deck! :ychain: I'm looking forward to seeing pics of that little monster complete! :text-datsphatyo: That thing will be the size of a pony, but with a whole lot more hanging between its tires than most Horses! :ROTF:

Great haul. That should keep you busy for a while! If it were me, I would be working on them for at least the next decade. ;)
