eibbed 63 #1 Posted May 7, 2012 Gentlemen, I purchased a Raider 10, snow plow and a Commando 8 last week. I have already sold the Raider 10m and am thinking about keeping the Commando 8. It reminds me of the 856 I have regretted selling a few years back. The original "Wheel Horse" 16x5.50-8 front tires on the Commando 8 are very dry cracked, and I want to replace them with 4.80/400-8 tires and rims that were removed from a Suburban 400. Unfortunately, the Commando 8 spindles are 3/4" shorter than the Suburban 400 rims. Can I replace the Commando 8 spindles with the Suburban 400 spindles?
